3-Drawer Hickory Box
This piece is a good example of working with a client to come up with the right jewelry box. It incorporates woods that extend and also contrast with existing furniture. The design result of selecting design elements from several different previously done pieces, and then sizing the box for the client's individual requirements.
This box is made of Hickory, and combines both heartwood and sapwood as does the piece of furniture upon which it will sit. The contrasting Bloodwood trim serves both to add visual affect, as well as to separate the piece from the dresser on which it sits.
