Box Details
Examples of construction details common to many of my boxes.
Typical Pagoda Box style contruction of open drawer rails and supports. The full system is open to view and part of the box design.

Slip-feathers are used at the box corners, both as structural and design elements.
Boxes are normally finished with several coats of lacquer and hand rubbed for a satin finish. Hinges are solid brass, and many have built in stops to hold the lid in an upright position.
